K-Fashion is growing in global popularity and interest. Many domestic brands are entering the notoriously snooty and demanding European market and expanding their territory at an accelerated pace. Riding the wave of K-content, which is popular all over the world, Korean creative-based designer brands with global competitiveness have begun to target overseas markets. In particular, the brand has recently made its way to the global stage, including the F/W 2024 Paris Fashion Week, to showcase K-Fashion to the world. In this article, we'll talk about the popularity of K-fashion brands and runway fashion models.

K-brands that work in Europe

In 2024, K-fashion brands are still going strong. A total of five Korean fashion companies participated in the Fall/Winter (F/W) 2024 Paris Fashion Week at the beginning of the year to showcase their brands to the world. Participating brands include conglomerate fashion brand Junji, System anddesigner brands Songgio, Solid Homme, andWoo Youngmi.

Paris Fashion Week is considered one of the four most prestigious global fashion shows in the world, along with London, Milan, and New York.

K-Content is a major factor in the popularity of K-Fashion brands. In recent years, as K-culture has expanded its global influence, K-fashion brands have also grown in popularity. With the popularity of Korean TV shows, movies, and K-pop, there is a growing interest in K-fashion, with many international fans wanting to emulate the fashion styles of actors and singers. The fashion industry, which has reached a plateau in the domestic market, is now looking at the global market as a breakthrough, and has decided that now is the right time to target the European market.

Meanwhile, three Korean designers walked the runway at the '2024 K-Fashion Night ' fashion show on March 4 during the last Paris Fashion Week. Park Hyun Park's "Meeme", Lee Cheongcheon Lee's "Rai", and Yang Yoonah's "Vegan Tiger ". Here's a breakdown of each brand featured on the show. All three brands showcased garments using models that fit their image and concept.

Also known as high fashion models, they are harder to break into than other commercial or beauty models.
